We try to keep the castle as it is, a private property in order to not disturb our guest’s privacy.
That’s why you will not find signs of the castle as it is not a restaurant and not even a hotel.
Most of the time our guests get lost with the GPS so we recomment to follow our directions. Anyway the castle’s address is:

From Rome take the Grande Raccordo Anulare, (GRA) take it direction North, you will have to follow it for quite a while until you will see the sign FIRENZE keep following the sign and you will have to leave the G.R.A. and take the highway A1 to Firenze. Take the exit ORTE (after less than 100 km) and follow the sign to PERUGIA on the freeway E45. Once you have left the E45, pass PERUGIA and after 20 km you will see the lake, take the first exit TORRICELLA, turn left and take the second one on your right which is the big tree line that brings up to the castle. Go through a chain to take the tree line and follow the road on the right.

From Florence take the A1 direction ROMA. After about 1 hour driving take the exit BETTOLLE VAL DI CHIANA and follow signs for PERUGIA and for LAGO TRASIMENO. Than take the exit TORRICELLA,turn right, cross the railway and at the end of the street turn right, cross the railway again, pass under a bridge and at the end of the street turn left, pass the Hotel Il Gabbiano and take the third road on the right which is the tree line of the castle. Keep right.

BY TRAIN:
The nearest train station is in Passignano (3 km from the Castle). But the only one connected directly with Florence and Rome is TERONTOLA (15 km of highway from the Castle). From TERONTOLA there are many trains to PASSIGNANO. We higly recommend our guests to rent a car.

FLIGHTS:
The nearest airport is Perugia, San Francesco d’Assisi airport. There are connections with low cost flights to and from London, Bruxelles, Barcellona and some other European cities. The airport of Perugia is only 30 km from the castle.
Otherwise there is the airport of Rome which is 2 hours driving or the airport in Florence which is 1 hour and half driving. We can organizea car or a mini van in case our guests prefer to be picked up at the airport and than hire a car once they are at the castle.
